There is 3 segments when it comes to target audience; Geographic,
Demographic and Psychographic
Geographic is to do with the area of which the audience lives in
for example the region, the size of the area or the climate. Whereas
Demographic is to do with the basic information about a person or the
audience. Mainly focusing on The age, Ethnicity, gender, family size,
generation (boomers, generation X) and also things like income
education or social class. Finally Psychographic is to do with the
lifestyle of the audience the way the life, how they live it, there
personality, values, interests etc..
